This stuff works. We use this along with a prescription stool softener and prescription gastrointestinal cat food.Plus believe it or not some Metamucil. My cat has major mega colon. We spent so much money betting him unclogged. This stuff is a godsend. But beware not all compounding pharmacies are good. My local pharmacy was selling me a compound that they charged 3 times more for, that was diluted. Once I started using CareFirst my cat starting going almost everyday and every 2nd or 3rd day a bunch. But the other stuff we might get a movement every 4th day with nothing in between. If not for this medicine we would have bad to let my cat down. Truly didn't want to do that since he eats good and is the sweetest little guy. We went with non flavored since I really didn't know if he would like the flavored. You give such a small amount that taste isn't an issue.
